In addition to teaching at Houston Christian University, he is the author of 25 books, including “How Platonic Thought Shaped the Christian Faith” and “The Myth Made Fact.” Today we talk about "The Consolation of Philosophy" by Boethius. We dig into the meaning and importance of general revelation, how to deal with suffering, and all that drags us downward. Along the way, we talk about The Chosen, Lady Philosophy, and where happiness comes from. We conclude by discussing free will and God’s foreknowledge.
